Reputation – General Public Sharing health data

Read more about the reputation of pharmaceutical companies operating in the UK among the general public

Citizens are generally open to sharing their health data, but only under certain conditions.

Few object to sharing their health data – on the condition that it is anonymised. The top three use cases that have support are using this data to improve population health, improve NHS services and the care people receive.

I think my health data is fine for a pharmaceutical company to use to help develop new medicines
If it was not sold for profit and used for transparent research and development for which the results and data were freely and publicly available
I would be very happy, but I would need to be rest assured that my data was completely anonymous
If it would help in research that would lead to new treatments or drugs which would save lives
